Izhar Elias – classical guitar
Fernando Cordas – classical guitar
Adrian Elissen – flamenco guitar
Florian Magnus Maier – electric guitar
Eva Stegeman – violin

What happens, when star-guitarists from the world of dutch Classical Music, Flamenco and Heavy Metal would work together? The winner of Dutch Music Prize Izhar Elias has put together a very special program with 4 world class guitarists. It will be likewise a romantic as well as powerful concert. And when this Guitar Arena is joined by a Femme Fatale, playing her violin, the party is more than complete.

Well or less known Spanish pieces will get a very different kind of twist, by adding pure Flamenco as well as distorted Electric Guitar sounds. For example you will hear the most known Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez, written by Rodrigo, in a special version for Flamenco and Electric Guitar.

And what would happen, if there where completely no boundaries – please fasten your Seatbelts when those musicians go crazy in excellent virtuosic improvisations.

In short: It will be a mixture from melancholia, romantic, distorted guitars and whipping rhythms.

With works, composed by Rodrigo, Ravel, Elissen, Maier, Albeniz, Boccherini and De Falla
